G&G Dueba Blossom Grey Review

Hi everyone! Another review for you today: G&G Dueba Blossom Grey.
I received these lenses for my birthday from the lovely Sachie! I've been eyeing this pair for a while so I'm really happy she purchased these for me! Thank youuu ♥

Specs!
Diameter: 14.3mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Type: 1 Year Disposal

You can take a look at these lenses on PinkyParadise's website.

I was looking for a pair that didn't cover my eye colour too much. The images on their website made it look like they gave your eyes this adorable frosty look. I also loved the little tornado effect of the limbal ring, which made them look a little more interesting for such a simple design.

As per usual, PinkyParadise gives out a free animal lens case. I think this time I got a green bear? I can never tell haha.
Initially when I looked at the lens I was surprised at how much grey there actually was. I really like that limbal ring though. I feel like it'll blend better than the typical spikes you get with most limbal rings...?

Indoor with flash

As you can see, the grey doesn't really show up in photos. It seems to just darken my light blue eyes though which is actually kind of cute!

Overall
Colour is 3/5 (Doesn't change it completely.. just darkens it)
Design is 4/5 (Nothing special, but that tornado limbal ring makes it less simplistic and it blends really well.)
Comfort is 4/5 (Hardly noticed them!)
Size is 5/5 (Great for everyday, but still gives that doe look. You don't look like an alien)

If you're looking for a dramatic change in colour (ex for cosplay) then look elsewhere. For everyday, or if you need just that extra 'pop' to your natural eye, then this is a pretty good choice!
If you have brown eyes, PinkyParadise also sells the Blossom Brown.

Until next time!

  2. How do you think they look when you are not wearing any makeup? Natural or very alien-like? I find that most circle lenses need makeup to look OK.

    1. Well most circle lenses enlarge the look of your eyes, making them strangely out of proportion to the rest of your face. You need makeup to balance it all out.

With nude designs you might be able to get away without using makeup because they are usually 14mm and don't have a heavy limbal ring.

Most people say that you need false lashes for circle lenses, but I don't wear any and they seem to suit me fine! Go with what you think looks best on you! (or makes you more confident!)

This question really interests me! Maybe I can make a blog post about it haha ;D
